In the distant future, the region once known as Japan has transformed into a deadly wasteland teeming with high radiation and bizarre monsters. This forbidden zone has long been uninhabitable for humans.

The story centers on Leon, a man framed for a crime he didn't commit, torn away from his wife and child, and sent to death row. To survive, he is forced to take on a highly classified, perilous mission with only two outcomes: success or death.
